Robbins as a manager. I have known her for many years and she is someone
whose suggestions I take very seriously. I really got to know her when I
hired French Stewart for the independent film, DUCK. It was a film that
was very special but had very little money to offer actors. I never
dreamed I would be able to get French Stewart, who is one of my favorite
actors, for the role but J.C. was very supportive and made it happen.
Later on, J.C. helped me to cast French in a recurring role on THE
CLOSER, which made me look very good to my producers and to the studio
(Warner Bros.) What most impresses me about J.C. are the many young
actors, who are just starting out, that she has taken under her wing.
Every time that J.C. has called or written me about a new young actor
that I don't know, I have been so impressed by the talent. It takes
someone very sharp and intuitive to find new talent that is that good.
