As a busy casting director, it has been my pleasure to work closely with JC Robbins over the years. She works tirelessly for her clients, helping to create opportunities for them. Because of JC's excellent taste in actors and her warm rapport, I always look forward to taking her calls.

BRUCE H. NEWBERG - CASTING DIRECTOR -The Closer, Trust Me, The Class, Duck,The Cherry Orchard, Spawn, The Apocalypse, Twenty Good Years, State Of Mind...

I am very pleased to recommend J.C. Robbins as a manager. I have known her for many years and she is someone whose suggestions I take very seriously. I really got to know her when I hired French Stewart for the independent film, DUCK. It was a film that was very special but had very little money to offer actors. I never dreamed I would be able to get French Stewart, who is one of my favorite actors, for the role but J.C. was very supportive and made it happen. Later on, J.C. helped me to cast French in a recurring role on THE CLOSER, which made me look very good to my producers and to the studio (Warner Bros.) What most impresses me about J.C. are the many young actors, who are just starting out, that she has taken under her wing. Every time that J.C. has called or written me about a new young actor that I don't know, I have been so impressed by the talent. It takes someone very sharp and intuitive to find new talent that is that good.

JOYCE SAN PEDRO -Creative Executive

Unt. Alex Siskin Production / Escape Artists

Working for J.C. was my first job in the business, and it was through her that I was able to gain an understanding of the who's, what's, where's, and why’s of the business. I learned about casting, breakdowns, pilots, testing, and most importantly --- management. Not only management of careers, but of energy and of time, because when you work independently you’re forced to juggle the workload of what’s normally a team of people by yourself. J.C. has always been generous in sharing her knowledge and contacts, and has an endless enthusiasm in finding new talent. Working with J.C. was a wonderful inroads to the entertainment industry.

Production & Development

I had the opportunity to intern with JC for several months. Her extensive experience in the industry has honed her managerial skills to an unprecedented level. JC knows everyone and has seen everything. The time I spent working with JC has proved invaluable to my career. I am glad that I was able to learn about the managing side of the industry before diving into production and now have a well rounded knowledge of the business. You couldn't ask for a better teacher.
